Extracorporeal Life Support
Extracorporeal Life Support (ECLS) is an open access, peer reviewed international English journal, publishing articles related to the perioperative organ protection and extracorporeal life support. The main focus of ECLS is to describe novel findings in the perioperative organ protection and extracorporeal life support, provide current and practical information on diagnosis, prevention and clinical investigations.
Editor-in-Chief: Bingyang Ji, MD
Prof. Bingyang Ji is currently the vice director of the center for cardiopulmonary bypass, the director of the Department of adult cardiopulmonary bypass and the managing director of ECMO in Fuwai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. He is also the chief of Extracorporeal Life Support Association, the Chinese Society of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesiology. Meanwhile, he is the member of the subcommittee of cardiopulmonary bypass, Chinese Society of Anesthesiology and the subcommittee of Cardiovascular surgeons, Chinese Medical Doctor Association.
